How to use 567politics embeds

Add interactive content to your website with visible credit and a link back to the original page. Browse the embeds available on this site.

Create and add an embed

  1. Choose an item in the embed catalog, or open an “Embed this” panel on its original page.
  2. Sign in, then select Create embed. Visitors viewing it on your website do not need an account.
  3. Copy the complete embed code. It includes a frame, a visible credit link, and a script that adjusts the outer frame height.
  4. Paste it into an HTML or embed block on your website, save, and preview the published page on desktop and mobile.
  5. Keep the source attribution and link visible so readers can open the original page for more information.

Add it to your site builder

  • WordPress: use a Custom HTML block.
  • Squarespace: use a Code block with HTML enabled.
  • Webflow: use a Code Embed element.
  • Ghost: use an HTML card.
  • Wix: use Embed Code → Embed HTML, then give the box enough height.
  • Other websites: paste the snippet into the page HTML. Your platform must permit iframes; some plans restrict custom scripts.

See your embed views

While signed in, return to the same item’s embed panel to see your registered embeds and their view counts. Counts represent visible loads, including repeat visits and your own previews. They are not unique visitors or audited advertising statistics.

Older direct embed codes still work, but do not have an owner counter. Create a new registered embed to track its loads. Anyone reusing your public code adds views to your registration.

Updates and source credit

Embeds load content from 567politics. News feeds show the latest available original stories with links to the full articles. Catalog data reflects the version available when loaded. A travel map keeps the countries selected when its code was created; create a new embed after changing those selections.

Keep both the credit inside the widget and the link beneath it. Attribution helps readers find the source; it does not guarantee search-engine ranking credit.

If something does not look right

  • Code appears as text: switch to an HTML or Code block rather than a text block.
  • Blank frame: open its preview link, check that your builder permits iframes, and try again after saving the page.
  • Content is cut off: increase the starting height or the height of your builder’s embed box. Interactive content may scroll inside the widget.
  • No new views: use a registered widget URL and open the published page with the embed visible. Refresh the owner panel to retrieve the count.
