567politics for assistants and publishers

Find, cite and embed our public reporting with its original sources and context.

Find an answer

Start with the content directory, the sitemap, or the news RSS feed. The assistant connection guide explains the available research tools.

Quote with context

Use the canonical article URL as the citation. Preserve the byline, publication date, source links and qualifications. Distinguish editorial assessments from measured facts, and missing data from zero. An update timestamp records an edit; it does not mean every claim was independently rechecked.

Retrieve article text

On a news article, use the Markdown or JSON link below the story. Append /article.md or /article.json to its canonical path. JSON includes the original Markdown, canonical citation URL, byline and publication and modification dates. Resolve relative source links against link_base. These public exports require no account and allow cross-origin reads.

Embed a useful excerpt

Use the article’s “Embed this article summary” control for a live headline, original summary, byline and dates linked to the complete story. Browse the embed catalog for interactive tools. Keep the attribution and link. Third-party photos, quotations and underlying source material retain their own rights.

For changing schedules, fares, access rules and availability, check the linked primary source before acting. Never treat an old article or a schematic map as a current booking guarantee.
