Each number describes a policy position, not how good a politician is. Higher means more of the policy named on that scale. Scores are editorial interpretations, not scientific measurements. Israel and Palestine are independent axes.

Method: use attributable votes, enacted measures, statements or a candidate’s own platform; identify source type and date; map the stated policy to the nearest defined step. Primary sources take priority. A supported interval is shown as a range, with no invented midpoint. Reviewed sources that do not establish the position are labeled “Not established”; this is not a finding that the politician has no position. No cross-issue total is calculated. Rubric v1.

Source ↗First elected to the U.S. Senate
Fox News reports that Graham was first elected to the Senate in 2002 after serving four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. It describes him as an influential voice on national security, foreign policy and the judiciary who chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee during President Donald Trump's first term.
Source ↗Death and public claims about its cause
The Associated Press reported that a preliminary medical examiner finding shared by Graham's office pointed to a tear in the inner wall of his aorta related to hardening of the arteries, and that an official cause would follow toxicological and microscopic testing. The AP described posts blaming foreign governments or criminal action as unsupported by those findings. FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X that the FBI was assisting local authorities.
